THE DESIGN PROCESS
What is the
Painted Wood Construction?

Your design starts with an initial fee of $350.  This includes two design changes. $100 for each design change thereafter.

The PAINTED WOOD CONSTRUCTION is built of fine SOLID PINE WOOD and/or PINE PLYWOOD. Wood supplies will be found from local competitive suppliers (GTA, Halton, Hamilton of Ontario, Canada). The supporting backboard is a standard thickness of ¾ or ½ inch sheets of PINE WOOD. Wood shapes are carved strategically and sanded with care. These pieces can vary in thickness and are artistically placed for affect.. 

Much time and precision will be applied to shape your PAINTED WOOD CONSTRUCTION. The jigsaw pieces of wood will be cr8tively colour-stained and painted. The pieces of wood will be collaged, attached and fastened in an impressive and unique 3-D product. Depending on your choice of PAINTED WOOD CONSTRUCTION size and agreed design; the completed product can have a jig-saw puzzle fit to your space. The sections are designed for your requirements and to allow for safe shipping and transportation of your artwork.

Once wood pieces are stained and assembled, painting details are applied. There is a drying time after stain work and again after painting details are completed. After an inspection for overall workmanship and assemblage of your PAINTED WOOD CONSTRUCTION, a varathane (or comparable) indoor or outdoor wood spray will be applied to your work of art and dried before preparing for delivery or shipping. This is to protect and ensure a lifetime of enjoyment and colour vibrancy.

Your DESIGN starts with an initial fee of $350.

(Larger projects would have an increase in rate.)
Your BUILD contract starts with a 50% deposit fee of the total cost of the BUILD and CR8TE stages. The total cost of your work of art will vary depending on the materials needed, hours of labour and size. Details of this cost will be confirmed and agreed upon prior to the start of the BUILD. The remaining 50% will be required upon completion of your
PAINTED WOOD CONSTRUCTION.

(Packaging, delivery and  shipping is not included in this fee.
An installation consult will require further fees.)
